Maasai Mara National Reserve is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, known for its abundant wildlife and the annual Great Migration. Established in 1961, it covers approximately 1,510 square kilometers and is contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named after the Maasai people, who describe the area as "spotted" due to its landscape of short bushy trees.
